I loved getting to spend the morning with baby Guy and his beautiful parents, at their incredible home. There’s something really special about preserving a family’s love within the walls they spend their days; it makes remembering this season a bit easier.
I read somewhere recently that, remembering is love. Those words poured like thick sweet honey into my bones; my heart slid lower in my chest, tightening, my breath catching. Remembering is something I’m thankful for, but also something that hurts. A necessary ache that reminds me of the love that has overflowed from my heart. Remembering, feeling through the lump in my throat, and knowing that it is love that brought me here, that’s what I’m holding on to.
If you’re interested in letting me photograph your family, I’m currently booking for January-March 2018.
